The 360º The Challenge Gran Canaria, one of the most demanding ultra-distance challenges in the world, confirms the dates of its next edition, which will be held in the town of Tejeda from November 5 to 9, 2025. The last edition of this epic adventure featured a self-sufficiency course of 258 kilometers and 12,669 meters of positive elevation. Claire Bannwarth and Marco Gubert were the winners of a race that 67 of the 95 participants managed to finish.
It will be the tenth edition of a race that will soon confirm the opening dates for registration through its official website. The organization of the 360º The Challenge Gran Canaria will also be revealing over the coming months details of the event such as the total mileage, the slope that the athletes will face or the number of life bases that the participants will have along the entire route.
In the 2024 edition of the 360º The Challenge Gran Canaria, 67 runners completed the race of 258 kilometers and 12,669 meters of positive elevation gain. Claire Bannwarth took her fifth consecutive victory and Marco Gubert signed his third victory in the race. Frenchman Julien Chorier debuted with a great second place and Álvaro Santana from the Canary Islands, the great sensation of the last edition, finished third. In the women’s category, Sandra Moreno from Gran Canaria took second place and Claire Ferguson was third.
Another novelty that brought the 360º The Challenge Gran Canaria in 2024 was the live broadcast of the race, with four hours of broadcasting on Saturday. Arista Eventos was in charge of producing this streaming that counted with the narration of the journalist and director of The North Face Transgrancanaria, Carlos Torrent, and the comments of the Gran Canarian runner Esteban García.
