Canarian residents also enjoy an additional 20% discount

The ninth edition of one of the most prolific self-sufficiency races in the trail territory returns between the 13th and 17th of November with Tejeda as the epicentre of the race, with the start and finish lines in this beautiful town. The 4th of September is the last day to benefit from the discounted registration period for the 360º The Challenge Gran Canaria, which also offers two additional discounts, a 20% reduction for Canarian residents and a 30 euro discount for each edition of a race completed in previous years, up to a maximum of four.
There are already 80 confirmed runners, of which more than 60% come from outside the Canary Islands. Internationally known athletes from 13 different countries will travel to Gran Canaria to compete in the race. In the women’s category there will be such big names as Claire Bannwarth, four-time winner of the race; Sandra Moreno, third in the 2022 edition and Julie Berthiaume, a debutant with an extensive track record in ultra-distance races. While in the men’s category, we will enjoy with runners of the level of Sylvain Chapays, fifth in 2023; Wouter Huitzing, second in 2021; José Bordón, second in the last edition; Marco Gubert, two-time winner of the race; Javi Blanco, podium in 2017 and several times close to the final victory; Julien Chorier, one of the best ultra-distance runners in the last decade and Luca Papi, legend of the race and winner of four editions.
The participants will once again discover a large part of the island on a course without marking, which will not be made official until 10 days before the race. In total, 258 kilometres with 12,669 metres of positive slope. The athletes will be able to have access to external help at the five basecamps and and the three external points of assistance. More details of the race will be revealed in the coming dates.
The 360º The Challenge Gran Canaria is a test organized by Arista Eventos, with the sponsorship of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria through Turismo de Gran Canaria and the Insular Sports Institute; the Government of the Canary Islands with Promotur – Canary Islands; Tejeda and Fred City Council.
