Tejeda, one of the most beautiful villages in Spain, will host the finish and start of the next edition of the self-sufficiency test from 16 to 20 November
After passing through La Gomera last year, the 360º The Challenge returns in 2022 to Gran Canaria, the highest municipality on the island and one of the most beautiful in Spain. Tejeda will host between 16 and 20 November the start and finish of the 360º and will also be the nerve center of the event.
This event has a strong international character, as those who love the most extreme challenges come from all five continents to test themselves in a race that marks their lives. After five editions in Gran Canaria, the visit to La Gomera was another step in the growth of this challenge, which will now be held again on the island round with its epicenter in Tejeda.
“For Tejeda it is a great pride to be the starting and finishing point of a world-renowned event like the 360º. Without any doubt, the spirit of this race is in keeping with the idiosyncrasy of our village, amidst an immense volcanic caldera with the Nublo and the Bentayga as protagonists, being also the heart of Gran Canaria, which has become a world reference in the Trail world for its hundreds of kilometres of trails and trails that give no respite at any moment”, explains Francisco Perera, mayor of Tejeda.
The 360º The Challenge is promoted in the Trail Zone of Transgrancanaria.
The 360o is being promoted from today until Friday at the fair organized by the Transgrancanaria in Expomeloneras (Maspalomas). The municipality of Tejeda and Arista Eventos have joined forces to present the event in a unique setting, such as the Transgrancanaria, which receives the visit of 3,500 participants from 60 different nationalities.
